MLB legends and legendary mascots coming for toy fans
Fans of action figures -- at least retro-styled ones -- and baseball will have some new things to chase later this year.
MLB ReAction Figures will drop in August as part of the Supersports line from Super7 with 11 Hall of Famers in the Classic All-Stars lineup and and three mascots also in tow.
“Growing up, the first thing I ever collected was baseball cards. When I was seven years old, my uncle sent me a complete box of 1978 Topps Baseball Cards for Christmas," said Super7 Founder Brian Flynn. "I loved these baseball cards, and I want to bring that same emotion back to the figures and packaging we are making for our Supersports line of baseball figures. Something that brings you back in time, brings you a bit of unexpected joy and brings a smile to your face.”

We're about a week away from the arrival of 2018 Topps Heritage, which gives us a trip back to 1969 this season and that means one thing -- a peek at the checklist.
We'll start with the autographs and there will be a mix of past and present names signing for this one, including a number of rookies.
Among the standard autos? Hall of Famers Carl Yastrzemski, Al Kaline, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Orlando Cepeda, Jim Palmer, Lou Brock, Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, Steve Carlton and Reggie Jackson, who will also have Rookie Card buyback autos in these packs with his RC coming back in 1969.
Among the newcomers?
Are you ready to chase variations in 2017 Topps Heritage? Here's a potential checklist primer from '68
The annual trip back in time on baseball cards is nearly here as 2017 Topps Heritage arrives on March 1 with a new look at the famed (or is it infamous?) burlap design of 1968 Topps.
Part of that package are variations that are based on errors and variations from the original set that it seeks to replicate (at least in part) with players of today.
