Panini America
New Buzz: Products arriving this week (Nov. 29-Dec. 5)
After Black Friday, the hobby presents seven new products this week with a pair of NFL and a pair of NBA products leading the way from Panini America and Topps.
In football, arguably the biggest of them all is 2015 Topps Triple Threads, a high-end brand that features "the best retired legends, veteran superstars and game-changing rookies in the NFL." Each box will include an autographed triple Relic, a triple Relic, a rookie auto Relic and a rookie jumbo Relic inside with all numbered to no more than 99 copies.
Also coming from Topps for football will be the first gridiron take on Tek with one of the hit brands of last season in MLB getting retooled for the NFL. Inside every box of 2015 High Tek will be one autograph, one parallel and six base cards all printed on the colorful and enhanced acetate stock Tek was known for in the past.
Sure, this will be Kobe Bryant's final season -- but he's far from done appearing on basketball cards
After a rough start to his 20th season in the NBA, a 37-year-old Kobe Bryant confirmed in a Players Tribune essay published Sunday night that this year will be his last.
It's probably not a surprise to most NBA fans given his injuries in recent years, but an end to a career doesn't mean an end to cardboard, either. In fact, we're probably just getting started with this Panini America spokesman.
How can a case of Panini America football cards be yours? Simply predict Monday night's point total (Hint: Also read the tie-breaker!)
Black Friday has come and gone, but we've left our biggest contest to run through the weekend and into Cyber Monday.
We're giving away a case of Panini America football cards.
We want our 20-box case of 2014 Panini Rookies & Stars Longevity football boxes to be yours. It's jam-packed with four hits per box (that's 80 per case!) and originally carried a suggested retail price of $50 per box.
In a comment right here, guess the total number of points scored in the Ravens-Browns game on Monday night without going over. All entries must be in before the game starts at 7:30 Central time on Monday and comments will be held before they are approved in batches throughout the weekend. (Don't worry if you don't see your answer appear immediately on the page.)
***KEEP READING FOR STEP ONE OF TIE-BREAKER***

The semifinalists list for this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame vote was revealed this week and there are some legendary names on the list of 25 -- Brett Favre, Terrell Owens, Morten Anderson, Alan Faneca.
And if you're like Buzz -- a long-time collector but maybe someone whose focus isn't purely on football all the time -- one of those names may have left you saying, "Who?"
Immaculate Collection is here -- and BlowoutTV has the big pulls covered
Today's the day for 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection football cards to arrive and BlowoutTV has been at it since the early morning, busting a few cases already and box after box as well.
Bargain Buzz: Scouting the Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster deals
Buzz is a collector who has to be selective -- can't collect everything but would want to -- so that's why a day like Black Friday can be important.
It's a way to try stuff I normally wouldn't or something I've always eyed but never done simply because the price is right.
Blowout's Black Friday Doorbusters have been revealed and there are some serious bargains to be found along with the previous waves of Black November discounts on other brands beyond these. Keep reading for my picks on the deals that would get my attention first.

Kristaps Porzingis a big deal in The Big Apple -- and that makes him a big deal on basketball cards
He might be the biggest thing going in The Big Apple right now -- and that makes him a big deal on cardboard.
His name is Kristaps Porzingis and he's playing so well for the New York Knicks right now that the team's marquee player, Carmelo Anthony, has already dubbed him the future of the franchise.
“He’s going to lead this organization long after I’m retired,” Anthony said in an SI.com story today. “Hopefully we can hoist one or two [championship trophies] before that happens.”

Panini Eminence basketball cards are upping ante on everything
A mysterious package arrived at BlowoutCards.com HQ on Monday morning with some sample images and a flash drive with a single video clip inside.
Here is that video.
Jameis Winston, Cam Newton, Thomas Rawls, Doug Martin among NFL's Buzz-worthy in Week 11
The NFL's newest emerging name -- Seattle RB Thomas Rawls -- ran for 209 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 46 yards and a score. But -- and this is a big but for collectors -- he doesn't have a single legitimate NFL card, so we're stuck with this guy. It turns out that "this guy," aka Tampa Bay Bucs QB Jameis Winston, had a record-setting day for his team with five touchdowns and 246 yards passing in a 45-17 win over the Eagles. Is he that good -- or are they that bad? Doesn't matter on cardboard as he'll continue to be one of the rookies collectors hope to find in this year's football boxes.>> Click here to shop for 2015 football boxes on BlowoutCards.com.

Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster Preview #4 -- 2013-14 Panini Contenders hockey cards
The fourth Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster Preview this year is one that will heat things up no matter where you might be.A hobby box of 2013-14 Panini Contenders hockey cards will pack at least four autographs inside, but in many instances you might find that many autos (and probably more) on a single card. This one will be one of the dramatically discounted Doorbuster deals on Black Friday (Nov. 27) at BlowoutCards.com.
How much for a box?
New Buzz: Products arriving this week (Nov. 22-28)
With Black Friday nearly here, the number of new releases this week is low -- just five products are on tap for arrival this week.
The biggest release of the week for football is 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection, which will bring a new crop of high-end autographs and memorabilia cards to collectors. This one will include five autograph or memorabilia cards per box -- all from a selection that includes multi-player autos, massive patches, cleat laces and much more.
Buzz List: Five NFL players to watch in Week 11
Amari Cooper has out-produced every other rookie receiver in the NFL this season with 50 catches for 732 yards and four touchdowns. While those aren't exactly Jerry Rice numbers, he's perhaps the hobby's focal point on a Raiders team (along with QB Derek Carr) that seems like it's improving. This week they've got the lowly Lions, so this seems like a good time to say things look golden for Cooper.

Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster Preview #2 -- 2013-14 Panini Timeless Treasures basketball cards
The second Blowout Black Friday Doorbuster Preview this year is one that will give you three shots at something big from Panini America.Specifically, you'll get two autographs and one memorabilia card in every box of 2013-14 Panini Timeless Treasures basketball cards. It will be one of the dramatically discounted Doorbuster deals on Black Friday (Nov. 27) at BlowoutCards.com.

Panini Black Friday promotion includes full array of cards -- and extends into Cyber Monday, too
This year’s Panini America Black Friday packs will focus on youth as well as veterans -- there's a new crop of rookies and a few new touches for the line that help hobbyists and hobby shops build collections one promo pack at a time.
The packs will include the first memorabilia cards of players from this year’s class of NBA rookies. They’ll also include, as always, autographs and memorabilia cards from Panini’s sports along with some other inclusions -- 1/1 HyperPlaid parallels, for example, and a Cyber Monday pack program only for online group-breakers.
Bryce Harper has lived up to the hype as unanimous NL MVP -- and that's good for baseball cards
Not long ago, Bryce Harper was a hyped high-schooler on the cover of Sports Illustrated, then a dropout who got his GED early to hit junior college for a year before being taken No. 1 overall in the MLB Draft.
Now, four years into his MLB career, he's the unanimous National League MVP.
First Buzz: 2015 Panini Luxe football cards

Pistons' Andre Drummond is off to a historic start -- but are his cards?
We're 10 games into the NBA season and Andre Drummond is a player who hasn't been out-performed by any other on the court this year.
Or the last 40.
The Detroit Pistons center is off to a start that definitely should have collectors considering his cardboard, which can be found beginning with 2012-13 products -- you know, the year of Panini America's high-end rookie back then, Flawless. (Yep, he's in there.)
Uncle Drew's Rookie Cards are coming soon from Panini America
Uncle Drew has schooled a few players on the small screen.
Now it's time for him to do it on some Panini America cardboard, which the company teased online on Tuesday.
Laces coming to boxes of 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection
We've seem something similar from Panini America with the laces for the tops of NHL players' sweaters making their way into hockey cards and the laces of footballs in National Treasures cards.
But this? This has got to be a football card first.
New Buzz: Products arriving this week (Nov. 15-21)
After a few heavy weeks for new releases -- and with Black Friday still to come later this month -- this week's schedule for new products just feels lighter. But it still packs some punch.
For football collectors, 2015 Topps Chrome is set to arrive on Wednesday with one rookie autograph in every 24-pack hobby box. It comes on the heels of Topps Finest's colorful and delayed arrival and Panini Prizm's expanded rainbow hitting last week, but the allure of Superfractor autos has been among the strongest out there for football cards in recent years.
It's also not the only heavyweight coming.
Buzz List: Five NFL players to watch this week
The Pittsburgh Steelers will likely be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday when they take on the Cleveland Browns and that team's likely QB is our pick for a prime player to watch on Sunday. He's "Johnny Football," Johnny Manziel, who completed 15 of 33 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown in a 31-10 loss on Nov. 5.
Could a decent game against an AFC rival be enough to spark interest -- or at least some optimistic hype -- in a guy who was an unquestioned top rookie on cardboard last year? And what about a good game? Buzz thinks that could re-ignite some serious interest.
Keep reading for four more guys to watch on Sunday.
Tyler Seguin & Jamie Benn power Dallas Stars' unprecedented start
The Dallas Stars are off to a historic start for the franchise this season, powered by a pair of ... stars whose cardboard might have room to grow.
Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn have combined for 27 points in 17 games, and, according to the NHL, the team is off to its best 17-game start in the 48-year history of the franchise. The team is 13-4-0 so far this season.
