Buzz buys and busts a lot of boxes right here for Buzz Breaks, but one of my goals is to rip a little less and talk more about cardboard that I -- and you -- might like. One way to do that? Simple show and tell -- present a few pick-ups and say why they captured my attention.

A HOME RUN OF A SURPRISE
The Card: Hank Aaron 2021 Topps x Sports Illustrated five-pack ... Red (/5) parallel and standard cards (/2,057)
The Price: Direct from Topps ($29.99)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This was my first grab from this year's SI set since this cover was one I was hoping to see in the release and I decided to take a shot at a five-pack for grading purposes. I was rewarded with one of the rarest parallels to find in one's order. Only the 1/1 is rarer and there are three other colors. (Just 111 parallel cards between all of them.) I've collected a number of cards that have commemorated Aaron's record-breaking home run back in 1974 but never graded any for condition reasons ... I might have two to slab now.

Are you trying to collect an NBA rainbow? If so, there's more to chase beginning later this month.

Panini America revealed on Wednesday that 2020-21 Prizm Basketball NFT Blockchain packs will arrive beginning on June 16.

"All cards in the set will be housed in the longstanding Panini NFT Blockchain platform that began in January 2020," said the company's announcement. "These new cards, like all previous cards in Panini’s NFT Blockchain platform, are NFTs. In other words, the actual cards are the NFTs owned by collectors as opposed to being a 'token' associated with an asset that the collector doesn’t truly own."

Panini America has a new team member.

Likely top-five pick and NBA G League standout Jalen Green has signed an exclusive card and autographed card deal with the company, according to an announcement released on Thursday.

“Jalen is the kind of exciting, offensively gifted young player that fans and collectors alike clamor for and we’re excited to partner with him for such a meaningful relationship,” said Panini CEO Mark Warsop in a prepared release. “He will absolutely be a key figure in our products not just during his rookie season, but for years to come. He’s a bright part of our future and the future of licensed trading cards.”
