What's Buzz-worthy: I spotted this recent-year throwback in a retail bargain bin and it's been some time since I dabbled here ... so I ripped again. This time? A solid A with stars in a lot of spots among the inserts that help along with a pair of top rookies. Oddly, this box's base cards were almost a 50-50 split between verticals and horizontals, which probably led to this one having more star cameos this time than others. ... As I noted in the past, the bonus inclusions here are simple -- maybe too simple -- but they were the alluring part for me here once again. There are 10 pins here -- they are small and not all that impressive -- 25 Oversized cards (not in a pack just laid in the tray bellow a cardboard piece that looks like a pack, 25 Companion cards also loose in the tray that are 100-percent identical to a base card save for the notation on the back and then the Silver pack which includes five of 50 cards with that texture that are apparently only found here. I landed Trout and Soto this time -- as well as last time -- so I did well there on the non-rookie front. The regular packs are snot-glued together into their fanned-out poses as well as into the tray (a drop of glue holds each together) so they won't fall out ... but you'll also have to open the packs to get the packs apart here so it was kind of messy and annoying. All in all, though, the extras make this one a decent one to open along with its pack volume.
Product Grade: A
Box Grade: A
Fun Grade: B+ (more of the variety items would be better than more packs)
