2016 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball hobby box
You may not recognize the uniforms here but they're creative -- and wearing them are names you should know with guys like Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger and Rhys Hoskins on the checklist. The crop of players here is pretty strong and so is the signers list in a product that takes the 1967 Topps design back to the minor leagues. Atop the signers list that includes Dansby Swanson, Andrew Benintendi, Alex Bregman, Bryce Harper and Mike Trout for starters, they're all on-card autographs here. A couple of boxes should get you a basic base set and a number of the inserts that this one includes. It's a simple but fun break and you can see a sample box here.Keep reading for four more picks ...

2017 Topps Update Jumbo boxes and cases
This relatively new release is simply a fun one that's stacked with Rookie Cards and moments from the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. This collector has ripped hanger boxes, blaster boxes and standard Hobby boxes and many of them have delivered good volume on those guys named Bellinger, Judge and even on the variations. (They don't have to be rare to be fun.) I haven't studied the jumbo breaks closely, but one auto and two other hits at this price makes for a fun rip -- and if you get lucky you could do pretty well. While this might be a brand that seems somewhat plentiful now, once wax dries up there will be enough key players here to make it of interest later -- and basic Topps flagship RCs seem to be growing in popularity, too.Board Buzz: Must-read threads on the Blowout Forums (Nov. 2)

SCP Auctions' newest sale launches with new legends, vintage icons
The newest SCP Auctions event launched this week with some items that defy the imagination -- items that you probably wouldn't imagine them to still exist, let alone be up for grabs. Some of them, such as this 2013 Fresno State Aaron Judge game-used jersey, open with more modest prices of $4,000, while college classics such as a Lew Alcindor game-used UCLA jersey is already at $44,288 after less than a day of active bidding.

Buzz Movie Trailer Vote: The New Mutants (opens April 13)

The first trailer for The New Mutants has arrived in advance of its arrival in April, and it's pretty clear that this one won't be spawning from the latter days of the 100-issue series that evolved into a full-on super-team called X-Force.
This one's going to be darker -- apparently with a lot less spandex -- taking on a horror-film feel while introducing fans to a whole new crop of mutants known relatively well from the comic books.Check out the new trailer after the jump.
