"It still strange that I have a Pop!" he says in the video. "Certain things you want to reach -- goals and everything. And I wanted to be a wrestler on TV and I wanted to work in video games but ... things I didn't even know that I wanted in life."

Ready for some Super Bowl LI commercials? Get a start here ...

You probably won't see any sports cards in commercials during Super Bowl LI, but there will be plenty of collectors watching those pricey spots and Buzz will share some favorites here as they arrive during the game.
Biggest question on my mind first is ... will PuppyMonkeyBaby make a triumphant return?

NL MVP Kris Bryant lands card No. 1 honor for 2017 Topps (updated)

Update: Kris Bryant is card No. 1 in the 2017 Topps set as revealed on the show. He was chosen via a collector vote.
“It’s a huge honor to be chosen as Card No. 1 since it has depicted so many legends before me,” Bryant said in a prepared release. “It’s very humbling and nice to know it came from the fans.”
"Kris Bryant is an outstanding player with an infectious personality," said David Leiner, Topps' GM & VP of North American Sports & Entertainment. "He’s done so much in his career and has created fans throughout baseball regardless of team loyalties. He’s the perfect pick."

Want a first look at the MLB Network baseball cards to be found a week from today in packs of 2017 Topps Series 1?
Watch the Network on Thursday and it should happen -- and we're betting card No. 1 will be unveiled, too.
Although we can see the John Smoltz autograph here, the cardboard news -- whatever it is -- will come on Network's Hot Stove morning show tomorrow between 9-11 a.m. Eastern.
Legendary Dr. Seuss characters coming to Funko toy lines

There would be a rhyme here but there's no time here -- the Funko news must be passed.
Simply put, Dr. Seuss is coming to toy stores soon thanks to the Everett, Wash.-based company as part of four lines unveiled Wednesday that help celebrate The Cat In The Hat, Sam I Am and so many more of the memorable characters from the children's books that have sold millions of copies worldwide.
Mary Tyler Moore's only certified autos come in perhaps unexpected place -- a Press Pass Elvis set

One of television's female icons has died.
Mary Tyler Moore was 80 years old and died Wednesday after a recent health scare that had her hospitalized for the last week.
"A groundbreaking actress, producer, and passionate advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mary will be remembered as a fearless visionary who turned the world on with her smile,” said Mara Buxbaum, Moore's representative, to The Huffington Post.
Her iconic roles on The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show helped change how women were seen on television -- but you won't find a number of certified autographs to help collectors remember her place in entertainment history.

The recently released Star Trek 50th Anniversary set includes plenty of ink with two autographs and a memorabilia card in every box but there are some interesting surprises inside the product as a whole.
Each 12-box case is guaranteed to include one of five Captain's Autograph cards from the five leaders at the helm on each of the past TV shows -- William Shatner as James T. Kirk, Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Avery Brooks as Benjamin Sisko, Kate Mulgrew as Kathryn Janeway and Scott Bakula as Jonathan Archer.
But that's not all of note in this one if you look closely at the checklist.
Mystery of 'Twin Peaks' is coming to two Funko toy lines later this year

One of TV's cult classics is making a comeback -- and Funko toys will revisit the mysteries that surrounded the series.
It's Twin Peaks and even Laura Palmer has a couple of toys on the way in both its Pop! and Action Figures lines.

Street Fighter II's memorable stars get M.U.S.C.L.E. toys from Super7

The memorable characters from Street Fighter II are greeting another cult icon of the 1980s, M.U.S.C.L.E. toys.
The first wave includes four three-packs of figures with Ryu, M. Bison, Vega, Ken, Dhalsim, Balrog, Blanka, Guile, Sagat, Chun-Li, Zangief and E. Honda.
These toys, which are available from Super7, aren't the lone new M.U.S.C.L.E. creations available, either.
GreenLight brings Hollywood's memorable wheels to collectors

New information has come to light, man.
Fans of The Big Lebowski and other Hollywood creations from the big and small screens may have an extra reason to visit the toy aisle or thanks to GreenLight Collectibles and its Hollywood line that has been bringing vehicles from the reel world to us all.
Ok ... these specialty toys aren't exactly new -- they've been going since roughly 2011 -- but there have been as many as 15 series so far and Walter Sobchak's van was among them and that's enough that Buzz needed to take a look.
And we've found plenty more cool stuff.

Carrie Fisher's iconic role as Princess Leia led to a lot of cardboard

One of the biggest stars in the Star Wars universe has died.
Carrie Fisher, who was born to Hollywood stars before the fame of playing the iconic Princess Leia, died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack last week. She was 60.
The news was announced by a spokesman on behalf of her daughter.
“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother, Carrie Fisher, passed away at 8:55 this morning,” the statement said. “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”
