Best of 2018: Revisiting some of Buzz's favorite breaks
Between everyday Buzz Breaks and the near-monthly Buzz 12 in 12 marathons, Buzz busted a lot of packs in 2018.
How many? Well, Buzz is almost afraid to count -- though it was seemingly news to me that the 12 in 12 marathons actually started early last year. (That's even more proof there's been a lot of wax to get these hands ... it's all a blur.)
It was a year of memorable pulls for me at times with some icons' autographs found in my packs. It also was fun one ripping into really old packs, too, with some cheap thrills there.

Black November Wave 9 is here — and here are five deals to consider
If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices now over on the mothership as BlowoutCards.com's Black November Wave 9 hits today.
Many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz had to sit down and ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five boxes that caught this collector’s eye.
2016 Panini Classics football hobby box
Just because it's not expensive doesn't mean it isn't one of the best releases of the year so far -- and if you ask this collector Classics is a contender for just that. You'll find one autograph per box and memorabilia cards atop the ink in others. There also is one buyback auto per 20-box case with some big names to be found. This one's retro-styled but brand-new design (with a nod to 1983 Topps) is strong with some quirky variations and touches that also add to the oldschool feel. You can see more of those and a gallery in past Buzz stories here. Aside from the hits, the printing quality and design here on retro stock make this a fun rip no matter what. Had Buzz not jumped on some cases in Black November previously, this would be in the ol' cart.

We all know someone who busts boxes just for the hits and there are a lot of boxes out there that guarantee nothing but the hits, particularly for budgets that are big. (You know, the stuff like Flawless.)
Also out there are collectors like Buzz, who rip boxes on a budget, allowing for dabbling in more than one area (you know, not just Flawless) and bust a bit more more often.
One recent box ripped by yours truly was 2014 BenchWarmer Eclectic Collection, which is essentially a repack product with a few new unique cards created in addition to a massive assortment of past packs.
