The Big One is here!

Blowout TV pulled off something big early this morning that all those live marathon breaks just couldn't -- it landed the LeBron James triple-logoman card from 2020-21 Panini Flawless NBA. The pull came from a box split by a trio of buddies -- one from Orlando, one from Upstate New York and one from Truth or Consequences, N.M.

"I couldn't believe it ... I talked them into doing the break with me," said the New Mexico collector who wished to remain anonymous at this time. "This was my first time doing a group break. Since it was my idea, I've decided to auction the card and we'll split it three ways ... except I finally get $5,000 from my buddy for that card-show loan he never paid back."

Volodymyr Zelensky's chapters in the history books aren't yet written, but the record books already reflect a significant place on cardboard.

The Ukraine president doesn't appear on a lot of cardboard -- actually, right now, it's just six cards -- but they are in big demand as his historic profile is unfolding before our eyes daily as his country is being attacked by Russian forces. Demand has even led to unauthorized/fake "reprint" cards without the embedded actual flag patch inside them over on eBay. (So read listings closely and examine the photos if you're a potential buyer right now.)

Update: "I don’t like seeing counterfeits. This was the first time," said Brian Wallos, who brought the landmark Decision 2016 and Decision 2020 sets to life. "We only printed about 50 of the unnumbered Silver flags of about 55 subjects. ... The world Leader Flags are inserted about six to eight per case. We are also adding a lot more parallel colors to Decision on the coming products."

The Item: Patrick Mahomes super collection that includes 33 1/1 cards and more (all 2017 cards)
The Price: $7.5 million Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This stash isn't just all that you see above -- hit that link to see it all in the listing -- but that doesn't matter. The fact that Mahomes' best Prizm and Optic Rookie Cards and parallels aren't in there doesn't matter -- what matters here is that TMZ got its eyes on this one and it's now got a lot more exposure ... without there even being a Rob Kardashian cameo. The stash is nothing to sniff at -- it's loaded -- with a full breakdown at the link and the story of how it all came together for Robert DeArmitt Jr. and his wife, Heidi. The cost to put it all together? About $20,000. There's no doubt it would command more than that if pieced out and the seller says he's gotten seven-figure deals ... but common sense says, well, that price may not be hit. Except 2020 is weird, y'all. Maybe a Kardashian or Wahlberg wants to collect even more?

PICK UP YOUR JAW ... IT'S OVER THERE ??
The Item: Zion Williamson 2019-20 Panini Prizm NBA lot of 23 cards ... all BGS 10s
The Price: $54,900 after 89 bids (one day remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This one is an interesting lot ... first in the sheer volume and the quality. Then you wonder ... why might they be cashing out? (Or, is this just their "junky" copies, meaning they held all of their parallels and autos?) The timing here is interesting -- I'd think just as Williamson or the NBA returns might be a better time for this one, though there are a lot of different options for his Rookie Cards out there. This one will inevitably still be one of the most-iconic ones from this crazy year ... so this price should move before it ends and I'd suspect that the lot will get broken up over time. (Right?) Or, perhaps the buyer will just sit on it and flip it again later? Oh, and if you're wondering, just 517 copies of this card have checked in at a 10 and only 25 have topped them out of 9,199 graded by BGS so far this year.
