Bowman Red Rookie Redemptions arrive in 2025 Bowman MLB
A new twist on cardboard arrives in 2025 Bowman.
It's the Bowman Red Rookie Redemption program and it allows for card-holders of certain versions of Chrome Rookie Cards found in packs to be held for Fanatics FanCash in the short term or for the long haul.
Thirty rookies will be part of the program and if one wins Rookie of the Year then it's good for $100 in credit. Then there are escalators for MVP or Cy Young awards ... and if one wants to collect for the long haul then they're good for $1,000 credit if that player makes the Hall of Fame.

Baseball America's Preview & Top 100 issue includes bonuses
A new season of MLB action, a new season of top prospects ... and a new season of cardboard treasures inside.
Baseball America's 2025 Preview & Top 100 Prospects issue is here and just like its Best of 2024 Awards issue and its 2024 Draft Preview this one is jam-packed with everything one needs to know at its time of year -- and it again also includes some bonus collectibles.
Beyond the player rankings, profiles and scouting reports for this season, this issue's bonus insert should add to its demand. The inserts are similar to Sports Illustrated for Kids trading cards, which are heavily collected and, in the case of iconic stars and newcomers, often quite valuable.

Black November arrives ... here are five deals I'd grab now
If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices right now right here as the first wave of Blowout Cards' Black November sales is here
Many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz once again had to ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five that caught this collector’s eye ... and there's far more that just might suit your tastes in the big sale.

SCHOOL COLORS & MORE
2022 Bowman's Best University Football Hobby
It might be the season talking, but this box jumped out at me among the sales ranks as it's relatively new, includes a bunch of stars playing on Saturdays (thanks to NIL deals they're in here) and some notables who are now playing on Sundays right now, too. There are two Chrome autos per box here as well as quite a bit of insert and parallel potential, too, without breaking the bank. Sure, with a deeper checklist and names who won't be pros until later, there will be some leaner boxes than others -- like anything, really -- but with full logos, NIL guys, Chrome and parallels this one might have a shelf life a little longer than others in terms of popular players emerging on the fields and on collectors' minds. Among autos here? The last two Heisman Trophy winners, Bryce Young and Caleb Williams, along with Jordan Addison, Anthony Richardson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Heisman favorite J.J. McCarthy, Bo Nix, Jordan Addison, C.J. Stroud and more ... and there are multi-player autos to find, too.Keep reading for a few more boxes you should consider (and are likely to end up in Buzz's cart).

What's Buzzing: Post-National pulls, grading at the show, Bray Wyatt and Kumar Rocker make headlines and more in today's edition.
Buzz Buys: Kumar Rocker, Shotzi, USA Baseball, college cards, Max Weinberg, wrestling ink & even Buford T. Justice's kid
Buzz buys and busts a lot of boxes right here for Buzz Breaks, but one of my goals is to rip a little less and talk more about cardboard that I -- and you -- might like. One way to do that? Simple show and tell -- present a few pick-ups and say why they captured my attention.
So, with all that said, here are a few Buzz Buys ...

THE NEWEST NEW YORK MET
The Card: Kumar Rocker 2018 Panini USA Baseball Stars & Stripes Jumbo Nameplate (/5)
The Price: Under $40
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This Vandy star was a dominator and was perhaps going to be a top pick in this year's MLB Draft but instead he fell right into a prime spot when slid a bit and went 10th overall. Why do I say that? When it comes to cardboard, being a member of the New York Mets organization is better than being a Texas Ranger, which is where teammate Jack Leiter went at No. 2. He's the son of former NFL player Tracy Rocker and he's got a lot of cardboard thanks to USA Baseball appearances, including some cool cards like this. I don't think I ever pulled his auto -- but I tried a number of times -- but I couldn't pass up this rarity that appears to include the top halves of the "RO" from the back of his jersey. The bottom half of that duo is on eBay with a price four times what I paid. If his college dominance is any kind of a sign, we should see him in the majors quickly.

Kumar Rocker's dominating NCAA no-no heats up his cards
The author of one of the greatest pitching performances in college baseball history already has baseball cards.
He's Kumar Rocker and he's a freshman for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He struck out 19 batters in a NCAA Tournament Super Regional on Saturday -- a 3-0 no-hitter that was just the eighth in the history of the event. If you need a record-book refresher, the MLB record for most strikeouts in any game is 20 and the record for most Ks in an MLB no-no is 17.
The 19-year-old won't be seen on the pro scene for a while, but he's already got a number of autographed cards for you to try and stockpile right now.
