Dick Enberg's legendary career includes very few card appearances

One of the familiar voices in all of the sports world -- a long-time broadcaster for NBC, CBS and ESPN who covered Wimbledon 28 times, covered 10 Super Bowls and covered eight NCAA men's basketball championships along with much, much more -- has been silenced.
Dick Enberg was 82.
Despite a Hall of Fame career and plenty of time in homes on TV since the 1960s when he covered John Wooden's UCLA Bruins, he's only got a handful of sports card appearances from the past -- and, of those, really only one is easy to find.

NBA coaches get cardboard nods in new 2017-18 Panini Prizm set

Collectors tearing into packs of Panini America's popular recent NBA arrival -- 2017-18 Panini Prizm -- might find something a little different.
Coaches cards ... and that's not all as there are even some rarer coach autographs to be found.
These iconic leaders, some former players and some future Hall of Famers, aren't typically found on cardboard -- at least in most sets -- but they're found here.
Star Wars has made its mark in sports merchandising (gallery)

We all know that Friday is a big day in the film world with the arrival of the next Star Wars film, The Last Jedi.
It's a behemoth we've seen teased on TV and online for months -- and even longer in the toy aisles -- and now that we're days away from its release there's even more to potentially be seen and heard about the latest chapter in the legendary franchise. But, like spoilers, I've tried my best to avoid most of it -- all of the merchandising and marketing that can include everything from food to car commercials and then all that stuff in the toy aisle.
So, maybe it's just my situation -- it's a black hole of sorts I don't want sucked into because there's just too much I'd potentially want but ultimately don't really need -- but when I saw that there was a massive amount of sports-related Star Wars items in one online location I didn't expect?
Well, that's why we're here ...
This Dwyane Wade 1/1 autograph sale price might shock you ...

It's not in perfect condition, it's not Exquisite Collection and it's not LeBron James, but this card was in big demand this past weekend via Goldin Auctions.
This BGS 8.5 copy of Dwyane Wade's 2003-04 SP Authentic SP Extra Limited autograph card -- the only one made -- put up a pretty big number this weekend.
