Topps reveals new autograph inclusions for 2017 Topps Tribute

There will be some new features in 2017 Topps Tribute when it arrives later this month and chief among them will be some new autographs that weren't available back in September when this one was announced.
The biggest one? Former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, who signed with the company in November. His ink will be found in Tribute Autographs and the Generations of Excellence Autographs sets.

Bowman Platinum is apparently making a comeback.How do we know this?
Topps released a final checklist for the baseball brand on Wednesday -- and that makes it a likely candidate to be arriving very soon as a
Topps.com exclusive. Update: Make that a Walmart exclusive.It will arrive on Aug. 24 with a parallel rainbow that includes Purple (/250), Green (/99), Orange (/25), Black (1/1) and printing plates (1/1) parallels as well as Ice parallels only available two per "value box."
Update 2: There will be two autographs per 20-pack box, while blaster boxes (value box) will have seven packs and a four-card Ice parallel pack. Fat packs will include 12 cards.
Houston Astros will start top prospect Alex Bregman on Monday
One of baseball's top prospects is getting the call on Monday.The Houston Astros will call up former LSU star Alex Bregman after a solid second season in the minor leagues where he's hit .306 with 20 homers and 61 RBI in 80 games between Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Fresno.
"We feel like this is a good time to add him to a good team," Astros manager A.J. Hinch told the Houston Chronicle. "We're rolling along pretty well. He doesn't have to come up here and be anything but himself and contribute at a couple different positions."
Topps readies stacked Bowman promo set for The National
Topps is bringing Bowman promo cards to The National.The company revealed on Tuesday its plans for the show set for Aug. 3-7 in Atlantic City, N.J., and its wrapper redemption will include a prism foil Bowman Chrome set that has 50 players -- a mix of past, present and future players that includes Kris Bryant, Bryce Harper, Hank Aaron, Mike Trout, Yoan Moncada and Alex Bregman.
And there will be autographs to be found, too.
