Black November Wave 7 is here — and here are five deals to consider
If you hadn't noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices now over on the mothership as BlowoutCards.com's Black November Wave 7 hits today.
Many of the discounts were dramatic enough that Buzz had to sit down and ponder the possibilities in many of the boxes and cases -- and here are five boxes that caught this collector’s eye.
2013 Panini Prizm Perennial Draft Picks baseball hobby box
Every box of this one includes four autographs, three inserts and six Prizm parallels -- that's not a lot and Panini America added more in subsequent Prizm releases but there are a couple of names that make this box notable at its reduced price. They are Kris Bryant and Mookie Betts and both of those MVP candidates can be found within the Prizm rainbow of autographs here. Others of note within these packs? Carlos Correa, Joc Pederson, Clint Frazier, Byron Buxton, Clint Frazier, Maikel Franco, Jose Abreu and Aaron Judge. The right rare shade here could be easy profits based on the box prices.

2008 Upper Deck Goudey baseball hobby box
This one is a fun retro box to rip with its 1930s design and it's one that has some serious potential when it comes to autographs. Signers in these two-hit-per boxes include Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, Gordie Howe, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Nolan Ryan, Sidney Crosby, Tiger Woods, Johnny Bench, Dan Marino, Julius Erving, Ken Griffey Jr., Willie McCovey and plenty more. It will take some luck to find some of them, but they are in there along with a Clayton Kershaw Rookie Card and plenty more among the base cards and inserts.Board Buzz: Must-read threads on the Blowout Forums (Nov. 9)

2014 Panini Elite Extra Edition baseball hobby box
There are plenty of autographs to be found in boxes of this one -- and there are Hot Boxes that up the ante, too -- but right now there's one autograph that arguably stands out from the rest. It's Kyle Schwarber. The Chicago Cubs' slugger makes his debut here and has a solid amount of available ink inside the wrappers thanks to the standard autos and parallels atop that.
Other signers here include a heavy-selling Trea Turner, Kris Bryant, Byron Buxton, Michael Conforto, Luis Severino and plenty more (though some of those big names are as insert autos). Also in play here is an under-rated Cuban National Team memorabilia card of Jose Abreu with a piece of his national team jersey -- that's quite unique in the hobby aside from World Baseball Classic releases.
At its reduced price, this one's worth the shot -- and it's not alone.

2014 Topps Heritage High Number baseball set
The Cubs won the pennant -- and plenty more -- and the 1965 Topps pennant design is the home to the only Rookie Card for one of the World Series champions' best (and under-appreciated) pitchers in Kyle Hendricks. That's the easy guarantee from a set that's loaded with Rookie Cards and has an autograph inside every box. Also big in this one? RCs and autographs for Mookie Betts, Jose Abreu, Billy Hamilton, and Jacob deGrom as well as cards for Masahiro Tanaka, Joe Panik, George Springer and more. With a discount now's the time to pick one up.Gallery: 2016 Panini Phoenix football cards

How about this legendary pull from a box of 2015 National Treasures?
There are big pulls and then there are big pulls.
We all know what kind of crazy potential can be found inside boxes of cards these days as the high-end possibilities seemingly keep getting higher and higher with every new product.
But one recent big pull was soooo big that Panini America opted to create a video for it being presented to the collector who discovered it via a redemption in a box of 2015 National Treasures football cards. Check it out ...

2009 Topps Mayo football hobby box
Buying older football boxes can be tough at times as players can come and go quite quickly, but, then again, so did this brand -- but there aren't many sets like it. It's retro-styled football in the realm of Allen & Ginter with some downright unusual inclusions. Example? It's the home of a Tim Kaine "Rookie Card" -- perhaps notable to some collectors out there since we're so close to Election Day. Mayo was only around two seasons, and it includes non-traditional autographs and Relics along with a decent mix of big football names. (The big names remain big but the rookies may not be.) For the price this one's got potential and it's bound to be very, very different than other NFL brands out there -- no matter who you pull.

2015 Topps baseball Mega Box case
This is the only place to find cards from the 50-card 2015 Topps Chrome Update set and buying by the case is probably the best way for a shot at key rookie parallels and autographs/Relics. Among the notables here? Kris Bryant, Carlos Correa and Francisco Lindor. Statistically there should be at least one Relic per case but the real chase are those key players and their parallels. You get five packs of standard Topps Update and only two packs of Chrome Update but it's worth it if you buy by the case here -- though there is a limit.First Buzz: 2016 National Treasures baseball cards
