Rookie of the Year
Fast Five: Affordable ink you can land at The National this year
Fast Five is a quick list that might offer a basic starting point for a themed collection or new focus -- five things that could be fun for a beginner or a new way to add something to your stash if you're a grizzled veteran.
This time? Five affordable autographs you can get at The National this year.
WHAT?
Frank Whaley, actor ($39 any item; $10 inscription)
There's only one inscription I'd add with an autograph for this veteran actor who will be signing at the show and that would be on a Pulp Fiction photo something like this one. And that inscription is "What?" -- never has a four-letter addition ever been a better buy. While I suspect he and others signing -- or show promotors -- will have photo options you should be able to buy, I'd choose my own destiny and find something like this. Sports fans might consider a Moonlight Graham photo of him from Field of Dreams or maybe one could consider something from The Doors where he played legendary guitarist Robby Kreiger. It's all about a cool item that can make the ink here and there's good potential with a long list of credits. Heck, at this price I'd try something for all three movies -- or maybe Career Opportunities. Frank Whaley signs on Friday and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. (Times all subject to change.)--
Keep reading for four more making up the list this time.

Top rookies Corey Seager & Michael Fulmer get Topps Now nods
The Rookie of the Year award winners Now have more cardboard.
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager and Detroit Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer picked up the NL ROY and AL ROY honors on Monday night -- and tonight they pick up the Topps Now honors.
Seager is the first player to have a game-used jersey Relic in the line, while Fulmer will be signing autographs for his award-winner card in the program.
Buzz Q&A: 'Trading Cards' illustrator Cuyler Smith
A card show begins in Los Angeles tonight and lasts all the way until March 26 -- and you have a shot at owning any and all of the superstars in attendance as long as you're there early enough.
The difference? It's at an art gallery -- at Gallery 1988 (East) -- and the cards are prints from California illustrator Cuyler Smith, whose focus is the biggest names in the sports world ... err, the sports movie world.
Buzz caught up with Smith before his show, "Trading Cards," opens with a reception tonight at 7 p.m.
Q: How did you happen to focus on cards and card-size art?
A: It all started when I made a card for a group show at Gallery 1988 focusing on the films of Tom Hanks. I knew I wanted to do something different and the baseball card was a perfect fit for A League of Their Own.Topps celebrates Kris Bryant & Carlos Correa Rookie of Year wins

They are Kris Bryant and Carlos Correa -- and they are the National League and American League winners who already have Topps prints commemorating their new-found status.
