This one is a quick idea for a new department here on The Buzz ... Fast Five -- a quick list under a simple topic that might offer a basic starting point for a themed collection. It's a basic list of five items that could be fun for a starting collector or a new way to add to a stash that might already seemingly include everything when it comes to cardboard. For some of you, it's probably common sense. For others of you out there, it's something to think about.
This time? The big release of the week ... 2020 Topps Heritage
SUPER, MAN
The Card: 2020 Topps Heritage 1971 Topps Super Bo Bichette
These oversized 1971 Topps Super cards are box-toppers that are not found in every box but I kind of wish they were. It's a simple 15-card set that's more postcard-size but uses all of that space and some tight crops to emphasize the photographs chosen for a mix of current stars. Just two rookies made the cut here -- Bo Bichette and Yordan Alvarez -- and I'm going with Bichette of the two this year. Meanwhile, there are a number of notables in this set on the checklist. I'm not the biggest fan of the facsimile auto that was part of the original design (Topps needs to thin out the pen strokes on any and all facsimiles used if you ask me while also scaling them down to be well-placed "accents") but the good news is that that those vanish for the players who have certified autos from this set. Those are far tougher pulls and were only made for five players. No Bo, though. (Bummer.)Keep reading for four more making up the list this time.

BO KNOWS
The Item: Bo Bichette 2020 Topps Series 1 1985 Topps Red Autographs (/25)
The Price: $399.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This price might not be the best one out there, but this guy is my pick to watch this season among the rookies and young stars you should be looking to find in packs. The 1985 cards actually aren't my favorite inclusion in 2020 Topps Series 1, but these cards (all colors) have on-card sigs and that's a big plus. I'd also consider the stickered 1985 Chrome autos that are in box-topper packs as there has to be a limited volume of those out there -- and inevitably there will always be some stuck in sealed hobby boxes for years to come. Prices for rarer versions of top guys on unsigned cards show there is some serious interest in those cards, too. I'm not sure this price will get hit, but after his rookie season where he hit .311 with 11 homers, 18 doubles and 21 RBI in just 46 games we may be all wishing we had been chasing him now at some point later this season.

SMALL SURPRISES AND STRONG PHOTOS
The Card: Big Air Big Hair ... Card No. 298
The Price: Cheap but fun.
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is a textbook example of how some of the basic inclusions in this one -- either team cards or checklists -- can have fun photos that help make the simple inclusions a little more interesting. This is something that some brands do often and with deliberate appeal -- think Stadium Club -- but flagship Topps has done this more in recent years and the results are getting a little better. One touch on this card that some might notice? The new (old) logo for the Brewers will be found in this series. It also doesn't hurt that one of the strong sophomores, Keston Hiura, is here, too. This won't be an expensive card at all -- it's just a nod to remember that fun stuff adds value in other ways and we might all remember that more often ... a good photo can make a good card, too.Keep reading for five more interesting items in this one ...

ALLLLLL ABOARD?
The Item: Zion Williamson 2019-20 Panini Contenders Draft Picks College Ticket parallel (/5)
The Price: $50,000 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The Zion packs are here and there are a number of possibilities with the various parallels in this one -- and there are a number of them that are rare like this card. Will this price be hit? Well, big things are also possible for NBA phenoms -- and there are other active auctions that are higher (seriously, hit that link below) for the No. 1 overall draft pick. So ... maybe. Part of me wants to cite the arrivals of Shaq and LeBron James in comparison to this but the hype train just seems to be bigger and pricier than those Hall of Famers. Will it last? We'll see -- again, anything seems possible with NBA cards and the global demand without a massive global supply -- but the key is to ride the track however you want to as a seller, buyer or collector. We have some time before NBA Hoops arrives with him in pro colors so the Duke stuff will get plenty of attention until that time.

THREE OF A KIND
The Item: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Fernando Tatis Jr. & Eloy Jimenez 2019 Bowman Sterling Red Refractor Auto (1/1)
The Price: $3,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The return of Bowman Sterling after a few years on the bench is a showcase of this year's strong rookie crop and some promising prospects with an autograph in every single pack. Three of the top names from those rookies are on this card -- one that also has versions much easier to find -- and they are not alone. There are a number of key guys to look for here and there are some prospect auto sales that might surprise you so far -- hit that link below and then flip to completeds. The big rookie autos are the big deal right now but it's the prospects who could potentially pay off even more later.

Bowman Sterling's return is full of prospects, rookies & ink

It's been a few years since we last saw Bowman Sterling as a standalone product -- it had lived on as inserts in recent years -- but that trend ends on Wednesday with a new full-scale arrival.
And with a glance at the 2019 Bowman Sterling checklist it's apparent that the fans of rookies and prospects will have plenty to chew on in this autograph-per-pack release from Topps. You get five packs per box in this one and it's also got a 100-card basic card assortment that is half prospects and half rookies with the bigs you would expect on the RC front -- Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Fernando Tatis Jr., Austin Riley, Pete Alonso, Keston Hiura, Eloy Jimenez and Nick Senzel are in there among others.
Prospects? Hold on ... Seth Beer, Yordan Alvarez, Bo Bichette, MacKenzie Gore, Alex Kirilloff, Joey Bart, Wander Franco, Nolan Gorman and Brendan McKay among others.
And that's just the standard stuff ... we're ripping this one for ink.
